Greetings,
As the Executive Director of the National Science Policy Group, the nation’s largest network of science policy student groups, it is my pleasure to invite you to join our work. We are seeking to bring this important conversation at the intersection of science and policy forward and you can help by becoming a Partner of the National Science Policy Group. It is worth noting that the funding of scientific research helps scientists to continue working on their projects and develop ideas. You can become a partner in several ways: as a sponsor or as a member. You can read about our goals and about us on the relevant pages of the site, and if you are looking for help with research, please refer to cheap ghostwriters for hire and the trust resources/research that you will find on our site or on various scientific resources.
The National Science Policy Group (NSPG) was formed in Spring 2013 following the highly successful work of the Stand With Science campaign, which united over 10,000 students and their allies in a campaign to support federal science and engineering research funding. As Stand With Science continued to grow, we realized the need for continued conversation on science policy issues to unify the voices of science, technology, and engineering students in matters of science policy.
And so, NSPG was formed. Beginning with a few established student science policy groups and individuals interested starting science policy groups on their respective campuses, NSPG has now grown to nearly 30 different chapters across the country. Representing groups formed in the last month to those which have been active for several years, the NSPG students provide the best resource possible to each other: a shared interest to learn about and participate in the intersection of science and policy.
We have begun to share self-created resource documents such as “How to Start as Science Policy Group on Your Campus” to “The First Five Meetings of a Science Policy Group” or “Attending a Congressional Visits Day”. Our internal resources are continuing to support the NSPG network, and we need your help.
As a Partner to the NSPG, we request that you connect our collection of students to those students in your network. This will facilitate our nearly 30 other student groups to assist your students and provide resources on how to join or form a student group on their respective campuses. We would also ask that you share the resources we create as described above with your networks in hopes that these tips and tricks will reach the most students possible.
We realize that this request should come with a chance for us to help your organization be as successful as possible. In response to the request to share petitions, webinar opportunities, and other amazing chances to get involved, we have formed a monthly newsletter specifically to highlight Partner organizations and their work.
If you are interested in becoming a Partner of the National Science Policy Group please contact me at . I look forward to working with you and the hundreds of students of the National Science Policy Group.
